- Is Being Forever Changed by Your Kid the Worst Thing Ever?Having a special needs kid will change your life, and from what I hear, there’s simply no going back. The @NewYorkPost and @New York Times recently did a write up about a family with Trisomy 18, and a mom who is choosing joy, contentment and love over everything else. Glimpses of the Journey

About Me
I’m a mom to three kiddos – one saucy two-year-old boy and one miracle angel baby who is my Trisomy 18 Rule Breaker, and a little wild thing. I am also a wife in love with an amazing engineer, a medical provider (Family Practice PA), a photographer, a plant lover, crafter, Carolina Girl, doggy fanatic, and a lover of travel, kayaking + camping.
Most importantly, I am in love with the Gospel and recognize (more everyday) how beautiful my undeserved adoption into God’s family truly is. In my “free time” I am sharing here how our Special Needs Journey started, is going, and how I pray God uses it for His glory. I am also sharing my little tips on self-care, books I have loved, support groups, etc.
